A Ripple (XRP) wallet is a software program that stores private and public keys and interacts with the currencies blockchain to enable users to send and receive digital currency and monitor their balance. Within your Ripple wallet is your Ripple address, when you place your order we request you to fill this into the order form, please ensure this is accurate as Ripple once sent cannot be reversed. If you have issues finding your Ripple address, please contact us at support@bitcove.ie or through our live chat.
Please note that online wallets are given as an option in this section. Although the online wallet listed below is widely used, we do not recommend storing large amounts of coins on such 'mobile' or 'online' wallets for longer than is necessary.

When using an XRP wallet you always need to deposit 20 XRP into the wallet before it will connect and work correctly. These 20 XRP will remain in the wallet forever and are not spendable. This is to protect the XRP network from spamming attacks.
Destination Tag
If you are using an online exchange to hold your ripple, you may need to include a destination tag. A destination tag identifies the transaction and the user who holds a ripple account on the exchange. If you are sending to an exchange you may need to provide both the ripple address and the ripple destination tag. Destination tags are not required for the above mentioned Toastwallet, Ledger or Gatehub, so it can be left blank.
Responsibility Alert!
Although we recommend these wallets we are not responsible for any issue or problems regarding that specific wallet. Remember to keep your password safe, secure and preferably recorded offline. Please note that the wallets we recommend can change as the different technologies develops.
